HI-Deluxe Solar System Kits are complete solar swimming pool heating systems. They include 4 x 12-foot solar collectors, mounting and connection parts, check valve and control. Each system is a manually controlled system complete with a three-port control valve. The Hi-Deluxe System can be fully automatic with the addition of the Goldline GL-235 automatic control system. This automatic system has a fully automatic electronic control center, complete with control panel, sensors and motor driven valve. At any time that you may decide you want a still longer season or a warmer pool you can easily add solar collectors. |

Tube-on Fin Solar CollectorHi-Deluxe solar collectors use the proven tube-on-fin solar collector that works all day to absorb more of the available solar energy and send more heat to your pool. |
| The curved tube surface exposed to the sun’s energy presents a more constant surface area to the sun during the day as the sun’s angle to the solar collector surface changes than does a flat or nearly flat surface. The space between the tubes forms a heat trap. Some of the solar energy falling on the fins and tubes re-radiates to the sides of the tubes and forms a high temperature area that is protected from the wind passing over the surface. | |

This increases the amount of solar energy absorbed by the tubes, sending more heat into the pool water. That gives us a great advantage over solar collectors with separate exposed tubes where the wind passing between them wipes the warm air from their surfaces, cooling them. |
Better Water FlowThe more water that passes through each square foot of solar collector each day , the more solar energy it will collect and the better it will heat your pool. When a laboratory is testing a solar collector to determine its heating performance rating it forces a predetermined amount of water through each square foot of collector surface. Some solar collectors have built in restrictions to water flow that prevent the amount of water that they are rated under from flowing though them when they are connected to a pool filter system. That means that they will not heat your pool as well as their rating. All Hi-Deluxe Solar Collectors have wide-open straight-though flow passages that let more water flow through them. That sends more heat to your pool each day.
